Who We Are
Motor Cards are custom-designed, printed, and shipped by Motor, a designer and lifelong collector with a deep love for the hobby. Motor began his design career as an early designer at Facebook, Instagram, and StockX, and now runs an independent design studio working with clients including Anthropic, ESPN, Nike, Fanatics, and more.
His love for cards started as a kid collecting in the early 1980s, where the colors, typography, photography, and storytelling of sports cards helped shape his path toward becoming a graphic designer. After stepping away from the hobby during college in the 1990s,
Motor returned to collecting in 2016 while working at StockX. As a former college soccer player, he naturally gravitated toward soccer cards and began sharing his passion for the hobby on Instagram, building a strong community of collectors along the way.
Motor later co-founded JustSlabbed, a custom card business focused on creating premium, uncompromising cards using professional printing, holographic and chrome materials, and slabbed presentation built for collectors. Motor Cards continues that same obsession with quality, design, and detail—turning original sports moments, players, and ideas into custom cards made with the care of a collector and the eye of a professional designer.
